Treatments
Careful, consistent dental care to help you reach lasting dental health.
Regular visits to the dentist, as advised by your dental team, along with a good home care regime, are recommended to ensure good oral hygiene is maintained.
During a check-up we examine the entire mouth structure and carry out an oral cancer screening. We may also perform scaling and polishing, and use instruments, tests and x-rays to identify cavities and jaw issues.
We focus on delivering careful, consistent dental care and helping our patients reach lasting dental health. We prioritise clear communication throughout treatment planning and stress the importance of good oral hygiene education.
Regular visits to dentists and hygienists help minimise serious problems while reducing treatment costs over time.
There are approximately 10,800 new mouth cancer cases diagnosed annually in the UK. While more common in people over 40, particularly men, cases among younger people and women are increasing.
We screen for mouth cancer during examinations by checking the head, neck and all areas of the mouth for abnormalities or suspicious lesions. If mouth cancer is recognised early, then the chances of a cure are good. If we have any concerns, we will refer you to a specialist for further evaluation.
All treatments are subject to a clinical assessment and may not be suitable for everyone. Please speak to the dentist to discuss what is right for you.
Call the practice or send us a message and we will be in touch to arrange your visit.
